Investor Cercle is a waitlist page. It is deliberately built to collect as little as possible, so this page can be short and specific rather than long and vague.
What we store when you join the waitlist
- Your email address — so we can tell you when your wave opens.
- A timestamp — the moment you signed up, which is what fixes your position on the list.
- The source parameter from the link you arrived through (the
srcvalue in the URL, for examplereddit, ordirectif there was none). It tells us which channels reach people who are actually interested. It says nothing about you personally. - The subscriptions you volunteer in the optional second step. This is optional in the real sense: skip it and nothing is stored. We use it to decide which research sources to build support for first.
- A referral identifier, if you use or share a referral link, so referrals can be counted.
What we do not do
- No cookies. This site sets none, of any kind — not even "essential" ones.
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, no heatmap and no A/B testing tool.
- No external scripts or fonts. Everything on this page is served from our own domain. Your browser contacts no one else, so no one else can profile you here.
- No tracking across sites, no advertising identifiers, no profiling.
- No sale, rental or sharing of your address with anybody, ever. No third-party mailing platform holds this list.
The spam check
Before a signup is accepted, your browser is handed a small computing task by our own server — it searches for a number matching a checksum — and returns the answer. It runs on its own while you read the page, you never see it, and it takes under a second.
This is deliberately not a reCAPTCHA or similar. No third party is contacted, nothing is written to your device, and nothing about you is measured, scored or recorded. You are not being judged on how human you look. The task exists for one reason: to make automated bulk signups cost something, so the waitlist stays a list of people.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours records that a page was requested: the time, the page, and the
src parameter. We use this for one purpose only — to compare how many people
saw the page against how many joined the list, per channel. We do not write your IP address
to that log. Your IP is held briefly in memory to limit abusive request rates and is never
stored.
How long we keep it
Until the waitlist has served its purpose, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If Investor Cercle does not launch, the list is deleted and everyone on it is told so.
Emails you will get
One or two, in total. One when your wave opens, and possibly one before that if we need to ask you something about your sources. There is no newsletter and no drip campaign. You do not need to unsubscribe from something we are not sending.
Deletion, correction, access
Write one line to vienna@esoxconsult.com and we will delete your entry, correct it, or send you everything we hold about you. No form, no account, no justification needed. Under the GDPR you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
